Aether Mug is a free blog. Everything here is available to read without paying anything. Some readers choose to support this work through a paid newsletter subscription—this page explains how that works.
What Payments Are For
If you subscribe to the newsletter with a paid tier, you're making a voluntary, pay-what-you-want contribution to support my writing. There are no exclusive posts, no paywalls, and no premium content. All writing on this site is and will remain free for everyone. The newsletter is delivered through Buttondown, and payments are processed by Stripe.
Cancellation
You can cancel your paid subscription at any time. The easiest way is through the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any newsletter email—it will take you to a page where you can manage or cancel your subscription. Cancellation takes effect immediately and stops all future charges. You can also contact me directly and I'll take care of it.
Refunds
If you'd like a refund, just ask. I'll honor any reasonable request promptly—no questions asked, no hard feelings.
Privacy & Payment Security
I don't store your credit card information. All payment processing is handled by Stripe, and your payment details go directly to their secure servers. For details on how payment data is handled, see Stripe's privacy policy.
